Problem: This interview style video highlights some of the problems consumers run into when online shopping for photo gear.
Solution: I interviewed Conor Payne, an independent photo retailer located in Calgary, Alberta. Conor had some real life examples about why it’s better to shop at an independent photo retailer instead of at a big box store, or online at an international store.
We wanted to show that there is more to a purchase than the price of the product, and how building a personal relationship with a supplier is good practice.
This approach works well as it shows how a photo retailer can:
- be a trusted source of product expertise,
- give you have a hands on experience when making your purchase,
- and still give you competitive pricing.
