Client: Debbie.lee Miszaniec – One Life Fine Art
Problem: Debbie.lee needed a video for her website and to put on YouTube to introduce and market her fine art portrait painting services.
Solution: Debbie.lee and I worked together to set up an on-location video shoot in her studio where she could talk directly to the camera. We used a wireless lapel mic and LED daylight balance lighting to blend nicely with the natural window light of her studio.
Photos of her paintings were also integrated into the final video, so it’s part portfolio and part live video. A few “B roll” filler shots were also added at the end of the video. Music was royalty free stock music.
This approach works well when getting people to know, like and trust you. It’s conversational so your clients can feel you are talking directly to them and that establishes a good connection.
Establishing rapport is very important when offering personal services such as portrait painting, as people are making a substantial investment in this service.
